SynPrime™ Phthalate Esters are API category Group V fluids. These aromatic esters offer lower volatility than mineral oils and are an excellent choice for applications which require good low-temperature and seal-swell properties or enhanced additive solubility. SynPrime™ Phthalate Esters can be used either as sole synthetic basefluids or additives in automotive and industrial lubricant applications such as engine oils, compressor oils and greases.
